A HUNT FOR A PIRATES TREASURE AND A FEW NESTING BOXES
Today, 6 Mar 12, Heather, Ariel (our youngest daughter), and I headed out on Heather and I evening ritual of a walk that includes hunting for a couple of letter boxes. The first box named "YAARG!" was located at a park named "Overlook Park" in Acworth, Georgia. This park overlooks a lake not far from home named Lake Altoona. This ride to the park took about 15 minutes, as we arrived a lady in a car pulled in to the parking lot next to what appeared to be where the buried treasure would be located. After waiting for the coast to clear in hopes not to have to walk the plank, we located "YAARG!", stamped the logbooks and re hid the box before anyone else pulled into the parking lot. This was a tricky box to find and locate without being seen. Once we got back to the car we believed we could make a attempt at another series of boxes located not to far from where we where currently at. We drove to another park called Swift Cantrell Park to locate the boxes named "Nesting." These boxes are also hidden in a very busy park in which the boxes are right off the trail. Another patient box hunt in deed. This was also a very nice park but not quite as relaxing as the previous ones we have walked in the past. However, the box series is very well done and enjoyable to find. After locating the series, darkness has once again fallen upon us and we decided to made our way back to the car and then home. Another successful evening of letter boxing which to our pleasure we got to spend with our daughter Ariel. I Love both of you very much. Thanks for spending your evening with me!!!!!
Sounds like you had a good time.
