A Search for the "Candyman"

On 8 Mar 12, Heather, Tiffany, Kyleigh, and I decided to go find a letterbox that Heather and I had yet had a chance to find. The box we were looking for was named "The Candyman" and it was located in a cemetery in the town of Acworth, Georgia. Tiffany so gracious offered to drive us to the location since her and Andrew had already located the box. However, Heather and I made sure she did not give us any clues as to the location of the box in the graveyard. Once arriving at the parking lot described in the clues, we made our way down the side walk to the gate that allowed us access to the old, dated, and no longer used cemetery. This cemetery had the mystique of a Halloween night search, no lights to be seen other than the occasional car passing by. The old trees that adorn the headstone were moss draped and most headstones weathered and virtually unreadable by flashlight. Although not very large by size the darkness made it a challenging find. It took us searching virtually all the headstones before finding the name that the clues instructed us to find. Once locating that headstone the box was easy to locate. We agreed to let Kyleigh remove the rock and pick up the box like she actually found the box, she loves that as much as we love her. Once she picked up the box, she opened it, and found the stamp for Tiffany and I to stamp the logbooks. After, making our entries we packed up the stamps and logbooks and re hid the box for the next adventures to find. We all made our way back to Tiffany's truck and made our way home to relax before the next days work. It was definitely a proper name for the the box as the Candyman, since this evenings search was a sweet as any that Heather and I had done before!!!
